Photography as Communication

I am awed by the natural beauty of the world we live in. Cape Cod is a special place for me. My parents bought our first summer home on the Cape the year I was born so I had the opportunity to continually grow my fascination with the sea, the marshes, the boats and the people that partner with them. I use my photography to document the world and then print images with a focus on the magic I find in my continued explorations on Cape Cod and around the world. My photos tell my stories.

My Background

I've loved taking pictures since my father gave me my first camera many years ago. And I'm inspired by the love I have for the world we live in and especially Cape Cod. I have photographed many different landscapes, seascapes, boats, flowers and wildlife around the world. I have followed the path of many people my age and have retired to Florida. This presents many new opportunities especially in the areas of flora and fauna. it further reinforces my philosophy that "there is a picture around every corner".

I also love to travel through Europe and across our own country, hiking and photographing our National and State Parks. Please check my gallery as I add photos from my recent experiences on a regular basis.
